CARA Our lovely Italian lady was 10 years old on the 19th October 2011. Sadly she was put to sleep on 1st February 2012. She had been fit and well up until the last week or so, still coming out with us every morning to let out the boarding dogs and exercising daily with Poppy and the others. However she suddenly began to fade, finding it difficult to get to her feet and very short of breath and then she started with an infection in a mammary tumour that had recently developed so we and our vet took the decision not to operate as she would not have survived the aneasthetic. There’s a big space in our house today We have a some pages that we put up to celebrate her 10th birthday. Please click here to see them.
OTHER 10 YEAR OLDS. Bella ( Seaxa Una Bella Ragazza) and and Pheonix (Seaxa Total Eclipse), two of our retired girls were both 10 in August and still living happily in their foster homes. Photos as soon I find the time.
POPPY Poppy’s hip & elbow score are back. Hips 3:5 and elbows 0. Great news and nicely below the breed average. Her LPN1 blood test came back clear.
